* Fix scaling for PID FORD.ENGINE.FFINF.
* Changed all instances of "EQ_RAT" to "LAMBDA" in SAE PID names.
* Updated PID scripts to use SAE.LAMBDA instead of SAE.EQ_RAT.
* Give the bus 5 seconds to time out after a five baud init fails.
* Fixed connection problem when using J2534 devices with non-CAN vehicles.
* Added numerous performance optimizations to rendering and loading code.
If you notice the engine misfiring or
some other problem, using the log file bookmarks you can just reach over and
press F6 to add a bookmark into the logged data that is being recorded. Then you
can come back at any time and see exactly where the bookmark is and view the
surrounding frames of data to analyze the problem.
The new alerts system allows you to
configure the software to monitor any parameter(s) you like. When the specified
conditions are met, the software will automatically play a sound (to warn you if
you are driving) or insert a bookmark for you into the logged data that is being
recorded. So, for example, if you are seeing power loss at high RPM under full
throttle conditions, you can set up an alert that monitors RPM and throttle
position so that when RPM is above 4000 and throttle position is above 80% you
can have the software automatically add a bookmark and/or play a sound. The
software has many sound files included with it, or you can supply your own.

scan tools and now supports the

It allows
viewing, charting, logging and playback of diagnostic data in real
time via the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic data port. It also allows
viewing of vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's), Freeze Frame
data, and other vehicle information.
PCMSCAN
supports 1996 and newer passenger vehicles* whether it be US, Asian, or
European. Supported OBD-II protocols: SAE-J1850 (PWM and VPW),
